The Art Factory
Just recently, a friend of mine, Nikki Brant, opened an art studio downtown. I took my girls, 8 and 10 years old, to a "Saturday Studio" class last Saturday, and they came home with the most creative textured paintings! Callie and Julia were so proud of their work (and me, too) that we immediately hung it up in their rooms for all to see. They are begging me to go back.
Nikki's degree is in architecture, but her favorite paid occupation was her museum experience creating art classes for kids. That's why she started this studio. Nikki even has wine and painting classes for the grownup girls!

2008 Real Estate in Morganton
January, 2008 is proving to be a very busy time so far at C. Ervin & Associates Realty here in Morganton, North Carolina.
The last 7 days have netted 6 offers in our office. Some have been offers from other firms on our listings of homes for sale, some have been "in-house" offers on our own listings, and some have been offers from our buyers on other firms' listings. Not a bad week!
